CORRECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stated in the previous Steve Madden Post that Vanessa Bryant was wearing Steve Madden's Brigght but I stand corrected, She is actually wearing Balmain studded crystal sandals. You guys might have heard of Balmain because a few months ago Rihanna and Beyonce were spotted out and about in Balmain millitary jackets. So once again, Vanessa Bryant is Not wearing Steve Madden's Brigght sandals but actually Balmain.

STEVE MADDEN

SO today I am walking through Macy's in King of Prussia mall today and I stumbled across these Steve Madden Trufle peep toes. I loved it when I saw it and with a price tag of 89.95, not too shabby in my opinion. With its 4.5 inch heel and 1.5 inch platform its the perfect combination of classy yet sexy. Now these Brigght (thats the name of the shoe) Steve Madden joints right here are the BIZNESS and althought the price tag isnt too bad at 129.95, right now I cant personally afford it so I tried to find an alternative and once again Bakers' came to the rescue. Having a similar shoe called Derek at 79.95, the only differences being is that the Bakers' version does not have a platform nor as many straps as the Steve Maddens but still a good resemblance. I personally would save my pennies and pick up the Steve Madden's because standing at 5'3" I am a sucker for platform heels and peep toes! Until next time my fellow addikts...

YVES SAINT LAURENT- Caged Boots

I know this is a bit dated but these boots by Yves Saint Laurent which most people have seen on Beyonce' have a cheaper twin out there in the world. YAH!!!! To all the people who loved these caged boots but unfortunately could not afford its 999.00 price tag, Bakers shoe store has a replica of these puppies for (drum roll please....) 59.99. Although there are clearly some differences such as the regular heel instead of the caged heel that the original YSL has and the fact that the Bakers' heel is 4 1/4" and the YSL's heel is 4 inches. Even with these significant changes I still believe that the Bakers' shoe is a great replica of the YSL caged boot.

I've decided to change up the blog and also find a way to get followers...lol. I like most people in today's economy cannot afford it, also with me being a student I am far from being able to afford these things. SO after a long hiatus, I have decided to change this blog into one that brings high class fashion to everyday people such as myself. SO whats going to happen from now on, I will be giving you guys the same look as some of these designer items but for an affordable price. And I will also try to feature up and coming designers...thats it for now signing out!

THE CHANEL CRUISE 2009 COLLECTION HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!! Ok so maybe I'm a little too excited about this but I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVEEEE me some Chanel. I know some people find it over-rated but its just something about Chanel that makes me all giddy and tiggly inside, LOL! Well Karl Legerfield did not disappoint but then my opinion could be biased since I am of course a HUGE FAN!!! So you make the judgement, I couldn't upload every single piece but here are some that I loved! Hmm, that sounded so biased, lol. Oh Well!

AUDI FASHION FESTIVAL IN SINGAPORE

For those of you who might not know Gareth Pugh is an up and coming English Fashion designer, who first premiered in London's Fashion Week Fall 2006. He was also the designer behind the creative pieces in Beyonce's "Diva" video. Pugh just premiered some of his work at Audi's Fashion Festival in Singapore and here are some of his work. I initially learned about Pugh after I mistakenly thought that some of the pieces in Beyonce's "Diva" video were from Balenciaga only to be corrected from a friend of mine that they were Pugh's. I then researched the man and found his work to be very unique. This collection is a bit dark for my taste but I still find it very interesting...Let me know what you think my fellow addikts...
